You Can't Make a Spanish Omelette Without Breaking a Few Eggs!

Senor Webb had a very small group for Horticulture on Wednesday afternoon because of the problem with the drain at the Old School. So he took advantage of the difficult situation, and the fact we had the new Spanish teacher Señorita Carceles with us, and decided to make a "Tortilla Española."

Using potatoes, onions, basil and chives, all freshly harvested from our garden, and eggs provided by one of our students they cooked up a storm. The students enjoyed both making and eating the Spanish dish and the verdict from the teachers was that it tasted delicious-All the more so after working hard to produce it and showing such resourcefulness.  We can’t wait to see what they can produce when we are at the new site with all the gardens we’ll have there!
